The right custom tape supplier depends on three things: how many rolls you need, whether you want plastic or paper, and whether it has to fit a standard 2-inch tape gun. For a handful of rolls, Vistaprint, BoxUp and Sticker Mule have the lowest minimums. For compostable paper tape, noissue and EcoEnclose specialize in it. For 36 rolls and up of standard 2-inch plastic tape at a low cost per foot, Parcelry and Tape Jungle are built for that order size.
Who each supplier is best for
- Just testing, 2 to 10 rolls: Vistaprint or BoxUp (plastic, from 2 rolls) or Sticker Mule (paper, from 100 feet). You pay more per foot, but the commitment is small.
- Plastic-free, eco-first brand: noissue (from 5 rolls, compostable paper) or EcoEnclose (larger paper runs, 15-case minimum).
- Need it fast: Sticker Mule ships within 4 days. Tape Jungle quotes about 3 to 4 weeks for a first order.
- 36 rolls or more of 2-inch plastic tape, lowest cost per foot: Parcelry (from 36 rolls, 55 or 110 yd rolls, about 5 to 7 cents a foot from 72 rolls) or Tape Jungle (from 36 rolls).
- Hundreds of rolls a year: ask for a volume program. Parcelry runs one from 576 rolls with artwork on file and scheduled deliveries.
Side by side
Prices are the smallest standard order listed on each company's own site, checked October 19, 2026. Per-foot figures are our arithmetic from those prices. They change, so confirm before you buy. Parcelry has no commercial relationship with any of these companies.

Three things that matter more than the sticker price
1. Width. Standard tape guns take 2-inch or 3-inch rolls. Tape that is 2.81 or 2.9 inches wide, which is what Vistaprint, BoxUp and Sticker Mule print, needs a 3-inch dispenser. If your packing bench runs on 2-inch guns, check this first.
2. Plastic or paper. Plastic tape is cheaper per foot, works in any gun and seals any box. Water-activated paper recycles with the box and bonds into the cardboard, but needs a wetting dispenser. Our BOPP vs paper guide goes deeper.
3. Cost per foot at your real volume. Small orders cost 10 to 19 cents a foot almost everywhere. The difference shows at volume: a 110 yd roll holds 330 feet, so a 72-roll order of 110 yd Parcelry tape works out to about 6.7 cents a foot all in, and 216 rolls to about 5.3 cents. Use our roll calculator to see what you actually use.
Where Parcelry fits, and where it does not
Not the right pick if you need fewer than 36 rolls, want tape in days rather than weeks, or want a sample roll first. Production takes about 3 to 4 weeks, and we do not send samples: printed tape only exists once a print cylinder is cut for your design.
A good fit if you ship enough boxes to use 36 rolls or more and want:
- Standard 2-inch tape in 55 or 110 yd rolls that fits any 2-inch tape gun
- Ink printed under the film, so the logo cannot scuff off in transit (none of the other six suppliers state this)
- A free online preview, then a free proof checked by a person, with your logo adapted for a 2-inch strip at no charge
- A low cost per foot from 72 rolls, and setup that is never charged again on reorders
- Other tapes when you need them: water-activated paper and printed tamper-evident security tape, made to order
How we checked
Every competitor figure above comes from that company's own product, pricing or FAQ page, read on October 19, 2026: Vistaprint, BoxUp, Sticker Mule, noissue, EcoEnclose, Tape Jungle. Where a page does not state something, the table says so rather than guessing. If you spot a change, email hello@getparcelry.com and we will update the page.
